These 2 boys each won an Awesome Kid Award yesterday.
Travis is 3 and slept through the night dry.
A story goes along with this, but instead of me sharing just know this is a wonderful thing he's worked toward for 6 months now.
Matthew is 6 and abhors shopping.
He endured an entire day of shopping at 10 different stores without 1 negative word or fit.
Once he realized what sort of day it was, he did ask if he could 'just go home'. When we finally pulled our old van that just keeps giving into our driveway, Matthew said cheerfully, "We've been gone all day long!" or in other words for 6 hours!
So, they both redeemed their rewards.
Today we are staying home, reenacting Jedi aggressive negotiations, reinforcing man-made forts, and eating ice cream.
