Sometimes our family heads to the beach to draw a picture of our future in the sand. Tom and I started doing this ten years ago and we encouraged our kids to join in. My future always includes a picture of my dream home.
The home that has an open foyer and molding through out. The drawing in the sand just looks like random connected squares and rectangles, but the details are drawn in my mind along with the happy family that belongs inside of it.
My dream home is still being developed in my mind as I add new features like a kick plate and a step down tub. But the happy family is being developed each time we head to the beach to draw a picture of our future in the sand.
